NASA draws all stops to fix the telescope of the Hubble space
The emblematic spatial telescope Hubble is still not functional at that time. However, NASA reminds fans that all scientific instruments and spaceship are in perfect working order. The problem is that the era of the 80s responsible for the operations of the spaceship has encountered a serious problem that prevented it from leaving the safe mode. NASA continued to diagnose the problem with the payload computer and announced that it had completed another series of tests on 23 and 24 June.
The Hubble payload computer has been non-functional since June 13 and the non-functional computer has forced the spaceship to stop collecting scientific data. There are two payload computers on board the spacecraft, with a backup server. Both are located on the scientific instrument and the control and data handling unit. NASA says that the tests it made on June 23rd and 24th included the first time the hubble was in space.
Unfortunately for NASA, during the test, engineers have used many combinations of hardware parts from the primary payload and backup, and all have known the same error. Any order that indicates to Hubble to write or read from the memory is not completed successfully. NASA says it is very unlikely that all individual components of the payload computer have a problem and that the team is currently investigating other materials as a possible cause of the problems.
Engineers are studying the scientific data control unit / data data, another module on the science and control unit and data handling. The NASA team also studies the power controller to see if the voltage is provided on the hardware is outside the parameters. The researchers believe that if the tension was out of bounds, this could cause the problems they observe. NASA says the team will continue to evaluate the material to identify whether something else can cause the problem during next week. The team could recommend switching to the scientific backup / trainer control unit to see if this mitigates problems.
