Good girls are NBC’s latest victories to have a surprise cancellation
NBC has canceled another successful TV show before viewers can get an appropriate conclusion: good girls. The series, which revolves around a trio of women who gradually dig deeper into the criminal world as a result of an act of illegal desperation, will end with its fourth season. The fifth expected season, unfortunately, will not come from Netflix.
Good girls are a NBC show broadcast by the network and also available to broadcast on Netflix. The Stars Retta series, Christina Hendricks, and Mae Whitman as Amais / Sisters flying a grocery store, leading them to a path of ever increasing crime because they (literally) earn money for noble – and then no -Noble – reasons.
The show has proven popular among viewers, but finally seems to be a major change in the way people watch TV: on their own planning through streaming services. According to the Hollywood journalist, the series was not a success when it was the linear broadcasting of television, where it failed to crawl in the kind of numbers among the key demographic data that the network was hoping for . Although the show has proved much more popular streaming services, it comes with its own problem.
Netflix had previously marked the VOD streaming and the global rights to the show, which means that the good girls can not perform a streaming transition only to the relatively new NBC platform base base. Although the fifth and last season of the series were planned, it will not finally be a transition to become an original Netflix.
This may be due, in part, to the netflix production costs would have been confronted if it had decided to proceed to a fifth original season, according to the report. This is not the first show we saw NBC cancel in recent weeks. The network has recently canceled manifest without giving it an appropriate conclusion, although the rumor has that Netflix is crunching the numbers to determine if it can be interested in picking up the show for an extra season.
